In 2015 "Sydney Cosmetic & Corrective Tattoo Clinic" was founded and established by Kaylene Brooks. With beginnings in conventional tattooing we noticed there was a growing need for permanent makeup as well as reconstructive and paramedical micropigmentation, and with over ten years experiance we have a full understanding of depths, techniques and how pigments behave and react in the skin.
With this in mind we set out to change the lives of many, by giving our clients the freedom from daily makeup routines or by giving them confidence in knowing their minor flaws and scars can be improved or camouflaged.
Our up to date training in both micropigmentation techniques as well as skin penetration and health & hygiene standards will give you peace of mind, and assures that you will be in good hands every step of the way. We also believe that nothing is too good for you, therefore we use only the best, tried and tested equipment and pigments from Europe. Although we strive to achieve the absolute best results, our philosophy is not to seek perfection, but to create beautiful faces and features that compliment the beautiful people within.
Because you deserve to be beautiful, every minute of every day...

what is micropigmentation
Micropigmentation (also known as dermopigmentation, pigment implantation, permanent/semi-permanent make-up or cosmetic tattooing) is an aesthetic treatment used to correct, modify, beautify and balance features semi-permanently. These treatments have been performed in the Middle East and Asia for centuries, yet have only been available for around 35 years in the Western World. The modern procedure involves using a small, pen-like machine to implant small quantities of colour into the skin. The insertion of colour reaches only the papillary layer of the dermis, ideally between 0.5mm - 2mm.
Micropigmentation is carried out using mineral pigments under the skin which approximately one week after implantation and a period of strong colour, fade to leave a more natural appearance that will last for years. Shape and colour can be altered according to fashion or personal preferences.
Micropigmentation is a painless procedure as a local anaesthetic is first applied to the area to be treated. A micropigmentation session lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours, as your features are studied before the procedure in order to detect minor imperfections that once corrected will enhance your features.
